Stanley Graham Ross (son of James Ross and Beatrice Dudgeon Graham) was born April 29, 1888 in Dundas, Ontario, Canada. He is a graduate of McGill University at Montreal, Quebec, Canada and is a doctor of medicine. He joined the Canadian forces (Medical Corps) as a lieutenant in November 1914. He was in France from September 1915 to October 1918. He was made a captain in April 1915 and a major in September 1917. He was decorated for service under fire.
