Unit mass resolution
Mass resolution such that it is possible to clearly distinguish a peak corresponding to a singly charged ion from its neighbors 1 u away, usually with no more than 5-10 % overlap. Note: This term is most frequently used to describe resolution obtained using a Paul ion trap or a transmission quadrupole mass spectrometer.
