Fourier transform mass spectrometry
Mass spectrometry technique in which m/z values are represented by frequencies of ion motion and mass spectra are generated by Fourier transform mathematical operations from time domain transients produced by image current detection. Note: Fourier transform mass spectrometry is typically carried out using Fourier transform-ion cyclotron resonance-mass spectrometers or Kingdon traps.
