Collision quadrupole

Collision quadrupole
Transmission quadrupole to which an oscillating radio frequency potential is applied so as to focus a beam of ions through a collision gas or buffer gas with no m/z separation other than low m/z cut-off. Note: Higher-order multipoles can also be used in this manner.
