Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Dates Settlement

Eva Wild and colleagues at the University of Vienna have used accelerator mass spectrometry radiocarbon dating on tooth samples from the Czech Republic to show that the remains are more than 30,000 years old and indicating that the settlement is the earliest of modern humans in Europe.
