Candidates with experience in imaging mass spectrometry, laser ablation, and instrument design and construction are sought. The postdoc will lead a project aimed at developing an instrument for imaging biomolecules in tissue that uses mass spectrometry and has both high spatial resolution and high mass range. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field is required and salary is commensurate with experience and education.
