From Yasuhide:

"(questionable to be listed in) The statistical theory for calculating dissociation rate constants. The physical basis of this theory is the same as Rice-Ramsperger-Kassel-Marcus (RRKM) theory but the statistical theory has been referred as this term by mass spectrometry and ion chemistry traditions, since in the original paper the application was to mass spectrometry. See also transition state theory (Gold book, 1996, 68, 190), Rice-Ramsperger-Kassel (RRK) theory (Gold book, 1996, 68, 185), and Rice-Ramsperger-Kassel-Marcus (RRKM) theory (Gold book, 1996, 68, 186)."
