DRAFT DEFINITION
Enium ion
A positively charged lower-valency ion of the nonmetallic elements. The methenium ion is CH3+. Other examples are the oxenium, sulfenium, nitrenium, phosphenium, and halenium ions.
Considered between 2004 and 2006 but not included in the 2006 PAC submission
