MH<sup>+</sup> is the [[protonated molecule]] | |||
[M - H]<sup>-</sup> is the [[deprotonated molecule]]. | |||
[M + Na]<sup>+</sup> is the Na<sup>+</sup> adduct and so on... | |||
Otherwise, it is a chaos since who is going to define the size limits for the "small units" | |||

MH+ is the protonated molecule [M - H]- is the deprotonated molecule. [M + Na]+ is the Na+ adduct and so on...
