DRAFT DEFINITION
Liquid secondary ionization

This term refers to the ionization of any species by causing interaction of the sample which is dissolved in a solvent matrix and a primary beam of ions. (See also fast atom bombardment and secondary ionization.)

Considered between 2004 and 2006 but not included in the 2006 PAC submission
